What You'll Do

  • Complies with codes, regulations, and safety directives.

  • Performs repairs, maintenance, and records.

  • Reviews and estimates work orders. Arranges subcontractors.

  • Orders materials and tracks completion.

  • Installs and modifies equipment systems.

  • Assigns and reviews work orders.

  • Manages invoices, materials, and tool inventory.

  • Inspects building systems.

  • Maintains energy management program.

  • Handles lighting, grounds, furniture, and locksmith tasks.

  • Responds to emergencies.

  • Implements preventive maintenance program.

  • Provides training.

  • Offers troubleshooting support.

  • Performs assigned duties.

What You'll Need

Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (preferred) and minimum of 5 years experience in complete building operations. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior RTU and refrigeration experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

  • EPA 608 / CFC Certification preferred.

  • Additional certification in one or more of the following: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.

  • Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks

  • Possess vital skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck

  • Licensure as required by Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
