JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview The Critical Care Transport (CCT) manager is responsible for assisting with leadership in the respective departments. The manager must be able to complete job specific orientation, competencies and meet and/or exceed standards as identified below through a yearly performance review. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement, and evaluate systems and programs towards the provision of quality services with Critical Care Transport department. Collaborates with Medical Directors, Director, and other members of the team within the CCT department. Actively participate in the development of business plan and outreach for the CCT department. Requires a broad knowledge of critical care/emergency medicine, business development, marketing and planning. Strong problem-solving abilities in complex situations. Experience with process improvement in operations, quality, and organizational change. Knowledge of continuous quality improvement management principles and practices. Develops implements, evaluates, and enforces department and system policies, procedures and necessary protocols to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and accreditation organizations. Must possess strong relationship skills with a variety of internal and external contact relationships including physicians, nurses, instructors, EMS providers, and external stakeholders/organizations. Experience in areas of scheduling and providing oversight for day-to-day operations within the CCT department. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Able to communicate effectively and persuasively with individuals and groups through compassion, creativity, and consistent visibility. Support the coordination of budget preparation, determining purchasing priorities, and making capital expenditure recommendations to the Director of EMS. Participates in and leads hospital and department committees Perform related duties based on departmental and organizational need.
