Vontier Talent Acquisition Specialist in Janesville, Wisconsin

The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the charge in sourcing top-tier talent for Vontier's Alternative Fuels Division, a mission-driven Global Transportation Technology Organization. This position plays a pivotal role within the rapidly expanding ANGI and Gasboy teams, at the forefront of alternative fuels technologies such as Hydrogen, CNG, and Biogas.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is tasked with expanding talent across all facets of the Gasboy/ANGI teams, spanning from assembly roles to leadership positions, by actively engaging with a consistent pool of skilled candidates through proactive sourcing and market analysis. Furthermore, this role contributes to meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with talent acquisition, actively striving to minimize recruitment expenses. You will play a pivotal role in supporting projects and initiatives within Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding to foster positive branding and attract top talent in the market.

The Talent Acquistion Specialist will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, external candidates, and staffing partners by having an in-depth understanding of ANGI & Gasboy’s culture, policies, and goals. This role will work on reviewing and benchmarking the recruitment and selection strategies to ensure the capability to respond immediately to the business talent needs, taking into consideration being able to bring in the best-fit talents in the organization.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the high-volume, end-to-end recruitment and hiring processes for ANGI, both direct hiring and management of preferred agencies.

  • Ownership of talent evaluation and screening (e.g. analyzing resumes, conducting screenings, assisting with interviews, testing and ranking candidates)

  • Evaluate the talent landscape and advise People & Culture Business Partners and hiring managers on sourcing, and the talent acquisition approach to attract the best-fit talents for the organization.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Use proactive and creative approaches to maintain an active candidate pipeline using a mix of channels including direct networks, job boards, social media, university relations, and referrals.

  • Formulate and execute plans to attract best-fit candidates in the market.

  • Responsible for Employer Branding initiatives and will handle projects for continuous improvement in Talent Acquisition and People and Culture.

  • Preparation of compensation proposals and management offer discussion/negotiations with stakeholders and candidates.

  • Attend job fairs, external hiring events, and organize ANGI hiring events

  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications teams to lead employment advertising, internal mobility, and referral campaign initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with all internal service level agreements, policies, and procedures.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-volume Talent Acquisition Specialist role, preferably within an IT or Manufacturing organization.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix, and complex working environment.

  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (currently Taleo), job boards, social media and recruiting channels.

  • Strong customer-centric mindset, attention to detail, and good prioritization skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Good business acumen and strong consulting skills to engage and influence hiring managers and candidates.

  • Good project management and multi-tasking skills.
