JOB REQUIREMENTS: InsightFS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsinwith 23 branches across the state and upper peninsula of Michigan. Insight FS has 430+ employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 50,000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. InsightFS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Provides administrative support and coordination for all HR functions related to benefits, employment, compensation, payroll, and compliance administration. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Participates in the recruitment process by recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting & on-boarding new employees. Utilizes the applicant tracking system to pre-screen candidates, & determine candidate disposition. Consults and trains managers on the hiring process, interview and selection techniques, and utilization applicant tracking software. Serves as the primary backup for the HR Manager for the recruiting process. Manages job offer process including pre-employment screening, offer approvals, and offer letters. Assists HR Manager in ensuring the appropriate data is being collected and maintained for reporting purposes. Responsible for new employee orientation including benefit enrollment, company history, and new hire paperwork. Consults with & advises employees on benefits eligibility. Oversees annual benefit open enrollment meetings topresent information.Serves as primary contact in answeringemployees\' benefit questions, collecting insurance forms, entering employee elections, and uploading data to insurance vendors for timely coverage. Provides information to corporate Benefits Department and appropriate vendors. Tests, audits, and reports on pension census data and 401K administration. Manages employee files by scanning, uploading, and distributing employee documents in ImageNow. Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and 401K loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records. Administers ePAF process to record employee changes such as pay, job transfers, adds to payroll and termination. Maintains records of employee vacation (PTO), FMLA, leaves of absences and other time off. Assists HR manager with employee relation issues, employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and performance management. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Attends training to keep up to date on regulatory issues pertaining to payroll and benefits.
