Responsibilities

Do you enjoy resolving problems? Are you a people person, someone that likes talking on the phone? Darby Dental Supply is looking to add a Customer Care Specialist to our awesome team in Jericho, New York. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will handle a variety of customer service issues including providing product and service information, resolving product and service issues, answering questions about shipments, price descriptions and accounts receivables. You will also be responsible for:

  • Answer and handle incoming calls and emails, responding to customer questions or complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Process orders and up-sell/promote vendor specials
  • Learn and utilize product information to cross sell and upsell products to customers
  • Build relationships that increase account expansion, revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Assist internal and external customers with all inquiries related to their account (track packages, process returns, issue credits, process payments, promote our brands and company initiatives, handle email requests, etc.)
  • Make outbound calls to vendors to help solve issues or obtain additional information
  • Interface with customers via our website - Live chat and email
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • 3 years customer service in a call center atomosphere preferred
  • Dental industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience upselling or cross selling, preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and must possess the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a timely manner
  • Must be solution driven, both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent follow up skills
  • Must be empathetic, patient, courteous, and anticipate customer’s needs


Salary: 21 - 27 hourly
