Technology Services Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Specialist, Infrastructure Engineer in Jersey City, NJ, to participate in or lead initiatives to analyze infrastructure problems to be solved with advanced design. Utilize standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Building, managing and maintaining virtualized servers on ESX hosts using VMWare and other virtualization technologies; Installing and configuring software packages on Linux VMs using Configuration Management tools including Puppet and Ansible; Implementing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) code and tools to create compute resources including virtual servers, disks and networks using Terraform Enterprise; Analyzing and configuring storage solutions (SAN, S3, Local Disk) for the Container platform across multiple environments; Designing and implementing complex container runtime solutions using orchestration technologies including Nomad, Kubernetes, Mesos and Marathon; Designing, developing, testing and deploying core microservices using various programming languages including Golang, Java and Python to manage compute capacity across all platforms; and Performing proof of concept design, testing and implementing solutions using new Cloud technologies.
