Associate Manufacturing - AML 7

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support the Drug Substance operation according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a Non-Standard Shift environment.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Hands-on operations, set-up, clean, sterilize, sanitize, and prepare equipment for manufacturing operations.

  • Perform integrity Test to filters used in Manufacturing activities.

  • Autoclave, Parts Washer, COP Bath operation, Centrifuge, Chromatography process, UF/DF system filtrations and Buffer and Media Preparations

  • Perform routine sanitization to equipment and manufacturing rooms

  • Implement routine validation protocols

  • Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions (e.g. manufacturing orders, routine area audits, batch records).

  • Perform basic troubleshooting.

  • Identify and recommend improvements related to routine functions and implement after approval.

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Associate Manufacturing professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

High school/GED and 2 years of manufacturing work experience

OR

Associate’s Degree and 6 months of manufacturing work experience

OR

Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Engineering.

  • Experience working in a GMP regulated environment within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

  • Availability to Support Non-Standard Shifts including rotative weekdays and weekends.

  • Experience performing assembling disassembling, operating, and understanding equipment per procedures.

  • Knowledge of basic computer systems including Microsoft Office, SAP, MES, LIMS.

  • Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail and technical writing skills.

  • Bilingual: Spanish and English
