Position:Receptionist/Administrative Professional

Location:Juneau, Alaska (No Relocation Supplied)

Schedule:Full-Time/ Days, M-F

Pay:$20.75/Hr. DOE

SUMMARY: Local Juneau out-patient mental health care provider is seeking professional, outgoing, and multitask - oriented front reception professionals. Ideal candidates will be self-confident in demanding situations working with the public, be professional, friendly and can work through multiple tasks and deadlines daily. DUTIES:Receptionist/Administrative Professional

  • Efficient processing of various communications, both inbound and outbound; phones, electronic, web-based, for clients, staff, and the public.
  • Maintains strict observance of the organizations and client rights and privacy policies, ethics, and guidelines, as well as SOPs for local, state, and federal regs and rules. Dedication to always maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Appointment scheduling and management of clients, providers and staff as needed.
  • Insurance and deductibles verification and co-pay collection.
  • Various document and forms completions and processing, aid clients with forms as needed.
  • Data entry, processing client intake forms and paperwork, utilization of EHR program.
  • Mail handling and processing, distribution.
  • Misc other administrative tasks and data entry as needed or assigned.
  • Consistent attendance, reliability, punctuality.

Receptionist/Administrative Professional

  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and their families with mutual respect, and empathy with the utmost ethical standards.
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communications.
  • Effectively interact and work with diverse population groups.
  • Team player and independent working abilities.
  • Effectively perform multiple tasks, have high attention to detail, in an environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Familiarity with MS Office programs have good keyboarding abilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Receptionist/Administrative Professional

Previous medical office experience preferred.

  • One year of reception, customer service, or retail experience to include daily face-to-face interactions with clients or customers.
  • One year of experience data entry, scheduling, or clerical experience.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska drivers license and be able to pass company auto insurance screening if driving.
