Robert Half Office Assistant in Jurupa Valley, California

Description

We are offering an opportunity in the construction industry for an Office Assistant role based in Jurupa Valley, California, United States. In this role, you will be supporting our compliance department, managing compliance-related matters, and assisting contract administrators. The role requires dealing with a fast-paced work environment and handling high work volumes, making multitasking a crucial skill.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling compliance matters, including General Liability, Auto Liability, and Professional liability

• Support Contract Administrators in their daily tasks

• Conduct minor training sessions as required

• Fill and manage Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) enrollment forms

• Handle insurance matters related to Auto, Property, Professional, and Workers Compensation

• Utilize the Alliance portal for Public Relations Social Impact (PRSI) purposes

• Handle repetitive tasks and manage peak season work volumes effectively

• Use Microsoft Office Suites for various office functions and correspondence

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication

• Perform general clerical duties and assist with billing functions as needed.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word

• Knowledge of office functions, About Time software, and billing functions

• Ability to perform clerical duties effectively

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Attention to detail.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Ability to perform office functions such as filing, copying, and faxing

• Experience with 'About Time' software for time tracking and project management

• Knowledge of billing functions and experience in handling invoices

• Ability to perform clerical duties such as data entry and record keeping

• Excellent written communication skills for correspondence with clients and other staff

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle inquiries and complaints

• Familiarity with the construction/contractor industry is advantageous

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks

• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
