This is a faculty position in the General Pediatrics Division in the Department of Pediatrics with 90% responsibilities for clinical service and 10% effort for educational and professional services as well as research and scholarship. he Faculty Clinical Track emphasizes professional service in clinical settings.

Job Description:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Care for hospitalized patients. Outpatient medical care for patients after discharge and clinic responsibilities.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and divisional meetings.
• Provide educational instruction in a clinical setting.
• Serve on departmental committees.
• Serve on KUMC committees.

Required Qualifications

Education/Certification:

• MD/DO from an accredited school.
• Board eligible (BE)/Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics. Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Kansas.
