About This Job

An Adjustment Specialist performs a variety of research functions and meets established standards for production and quality. This position will be responsible for resolving a variety of adjustments needed for both internal and external customer accounts, while also working with various financial institutions. They will utilize multiple systems to generate and collect the information required to settle adjustments. This person will also be required to use customer service skills to discuss adjustments both written and verbally with customers.

Essential Functions

  • Resolve internal and external adjustment requests in the Federal Reserve, JPMC, and Viewpointe. Utilize multiple systems to generate and collect the information required to settle adjustments.

  • Utilize the image adjustment system to open and work various adjustment case types

  • File research documents

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers regarding adjustment disputes

  • Mail customer correspondence letters

  • Perform other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Basic knowledge of brokerage operations

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Work Schedule

  • Shift currently available: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm but flexible on start and finish times

  • Hybrid Work Arrangement Available- Training and introductory period 3-6 weeks onsite. Once training is complete and production standards are being met, then a flexible onsite/ work from home schedule will be arranged.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 1+ year related experience required
