Here's what you'd do: Performs various electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical duties. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years experience in wire harness build and routing. Minimum of 2 years experience in electronics or optics. Minimum of 2 years experience running, testing, and measuring lasers or complex optical systems. Minimum of 2 years of experience handling fiber, fiber splicing, and fiber polishing equipment. Minimum of 2 years experience testing analog, power electronics, RF, and digital circuits. Minimum of 2 years experience in Testing and Development. Minimum of 2 years experience in Cable Harness. Minimum of 2 years experience in Electronic Testing. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: IPC solder certification. Mechanical assembly history and familiarity with building and testing electrical systems and circuit boards. Ability to prototype, test, and debug electronics. Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD and IPC-WHMA-A-620. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
