Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Embrace servant leadership and lead agile behavioral change by example.

  • Educate, coach, and mentor, teams and development managers to help improve organizational outcomes thru the application and adaptation of agile frameworks to our business needs.

  • Work with a variety of styles (hands-on, consultant, or coaching) with new and existing teams of various sizes and locations, depending on need.

  • Help identify impediments and work to create effective strategies to overcome them.

  • Facilitate, teach, and/or mentor conflict resolution discussions and alternative approaches to achieve desired business outcomes.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation and facilitation of a continuous improvement framework that captures and tracks improvement items through identification, ownership, and completion.

  • Drive transparency and trust, identify and measure KPIs that assess team agility relative to business performance and use those metrics to help drive improvements.

  • Partner with Agile Coaches, Release Train Engineers, and Scrum Masters across the organization to align on driving the intended agile transformation outcomes.

  • Facilitates one or more agile teams, each working under the Scrum methodology, and within a SAFe framework, on a diverse, moderately complex IT project.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working in software development companies using Agile methodologies as a Scrum Master.

  • Have hands-on experience utilizing Scaled Agile Framework ® and Scrum in software development organizations

  • Expert in agile values, principles, and practices and lean ways of working.

  • Have demonstrated experience transitioning software teams to an agile framework and/or improving organizational outcomes thru application and adapting agile frameworks to organizations.

  • Have excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including coaching and mentoring

  • Experience influencing peers and stakeholders and leading change.

  • Passionate about sharing your experiences and knowledge and growing your peers.

  • Driven, curious, and a continuous learner who strives to understand the business impact of work.

  • Professional Scrum Master and/or Professional Agile Leadership certification(s)

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.

Ideal to have

  • Have hands-on experience utilizing Scaled Agile Framework® and Scrum in software development organizations

  • SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP), or higher-level SAFe certifications SAFe Agilist (SA), or higher-level SAFe certifications

  • Experience in software development industry
