Aerotek Journeyman Electrician in Kentwood, Michigan

Journeyman Electrician

  • Grand Rapids, MI

  • $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

  • 40-50 hours per week

Description:

Journeyman electrician assisting with new construction, service, and preventative maintenance work on industrial and commercial projects. They will be working with well-known companies during the construction and renovations of their facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and install machinery and equipment including automated machinery, electrical piping, and controls.

  • Work with conduit ranging in sizes from 3/4 inch to 3 inch.

  • Review blueprints and schematics consistently with each job.

  • Travel to various locations across the country to assist with projects.

  • Work independently and as a team to complete tasks.

Skills Needed: Electrical, Blueprint, Schematic, Industrial, Commercial, Construction, PLC, Low Voltage, High Voltage

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Experience wire pulling and running conduit

-4 years of electrical experience

-Journeyman license
