The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Application Analyst I - IS Education.

The Application Analyst I - IS Education maintains and develops the training systems required for the education programs to support the competency of new and existing users of the UHS healthcare information systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Training System Maintenance: Maintains and updates all Cerner Train Domains and the UHS Test hospital on the Prod East and Mock East domains, including rules, interfaces (IFG), patient data, permissions, and user IDs.

  • Planning/development: Assists in the IS Education Team’s learning and development efforts, assessing current and future development needs and deploying system updates and streamlining processes to support training. Serves as the point of contact for all technology issues.

  • Change Advisory Board: Represents the Education team in CAB meetings. Sends out weekly communications to facility IS staff regarding system changes. Uploads education documents to Facility SharePoint site. Follows up on questions regarding system changes.

    Support Activities:

  • Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets relating to the Training system, Training Materials, or Educational needs.

  • Maintains the LearningLIVE feature, including production of monthly dashboard reports

  • Adheres to UHS Service Level, Project Management and Change Management Policies

  • Supports Education Team training activities such as review of manuals, WBTs, tip sheets.

    Continuing Education Activities:

  • Keeps current on relevant System Updates, clinical workflow changes, and release notes.

  • Keeps abreast on relevant Regulatory Requirements that impact the Clinical Information System, such as JCAHO, FDA, and various State Regulations.

    Qualifications

    Position Requirements:

    Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5-8 years of related experience required.

    Knowledge:

  • Strong in planning, tracking, execution, release management, risk and issue management skills as related to technology projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Proven ability to solve complex technical issues in datacenter environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient in knowledge and application of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the Education and other teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively document procedures.

  • Ability to work weekends and after business hours as needed for critical deadlines, training or go-lives.

    License or Registration Requirements : Clinical experience preferred, technical/system build experience required.

    Position requires up to 25% overnight travel for periods of up to one week.
