Job Description
Oversees the strategic product management for an assigned product line in support of the organization's goals and market needs. Meets product profit and growth goals. Oversees the evaluation of market trends, product development, product position and pricing philosophy. Recommends enhancements to product line to stimulate sales and meet objectives. Ensures products meet state and Federal regulatory requirements and coordinate legal review of all supporting collateral materials and documentation.
Primary responsibility will be to lead the Technical Card Network Management team to ensure Merchant Payment Services (Elavon) technical systems remain compliant with Card Network and government industry mandates and rules impacting acquirer payment processing in North America.
Candidate will be the subject matter expert and assist with defining business requirements and oversee certification of regulatory release projects, network upgrades, internal projects, Card Network product implementations as well as post production issue troubleshooting and monitoring.
The candidate should have a strong knowledge and understanding of the payments market; a good comfort level working with technical systems and specifications; possess strong analytical, project management and communication skills; be results driven and a solid team player in addition to delivering results as an individual contributor.
Liaise between Merchant Payment Services (Elavon) and Card Networks to coordinate calls, obtain clarifications, track queries, submit paperwork, and engage waiver discussions related to North America April/October regulatory enhancements.
Manage, define and update Technical Card Network Management procedures to ensure there are no audit findings. Participate in audit reviews.
Ensure team is addressing day-to-day queries through the team mailbox or tickets through ServiceNow.
Oversight and management of daily qualification reports, production rejects, returns or reclassifications from Card Networks.
Collaborate with teams to reduce fines and correct non-compliance issues due to non-compliance technical issues.
Assist with Analyzing and communicating all rules/regulations, monthly bulletins and member letters impacting technical systems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically eight or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Expert knowledge of the assigned business line and technical marketing skills
Strong product management, design and development skills
Thorough knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis
Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proficient financial and competitive analysis and computer skills
Demonstrated management/leadership skills
Strong project management skills preferred
Strong analytical skills, looking for specifications and rules and understanding technical terminology
Leadership experience with direct reports is bonus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $108,375.00 - $127,500.00 - $140,250.00
