Robert Half is seeking a Senior Software Engineer responsible for playing a leading role on a team focused on the development of software used in Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. This role analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements. The software engineer will write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using common programming languages. You will also complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May define system requirements and/or necessary modifications with other users. Knowledge of logical data modeling. Experience in object-oriented design, coding, performance tuning, and unit testing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and team building skills and be able to participate in software design discussions and guide the architecture of the solution based on good object oriented design concepts, and both industry standard patterns and Microsoft best practices.

Your responsibilities

• Transforms business requirements to conceptual solution architecture and high-level project estimates.

• Relational Database experience.

• Experience utilizing open-source languages to develop software.

• According to business requirements, develops, modifies, and implements Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted applications.

• Experience creating and managing web services.

• Strong understanding of scripting library tools.

  Requirements

• 8+ years of development experience with strong preference for PHP in high-load systems.

• 5+ years of development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS

• Cloud development experience in Azure or AWS.

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, query profiling and optimization skills.

• Solid experience with PHP, REST services, Bash scripting, Data Design/Modeling.

• Solid experience with ReactJs, TypeScript, JavaScript Frameworks, Bootsrap, jQuery, YUI, REST and other API services, HTML/CSS, CSS preprocessors (i.e. SASS/SCSS or LESS), Linux.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

• Experience architecting and developing large scale design.

• Experience architecting and developing microservices.

• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
