Golf - Retails Sales Associate, Whistling Straits & Blackwolf Run

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Under limited supervision, the Sales Associate will provide guest assistance with the selection, recommendation, purchase and/or return/exchange of products. This position will ensure cleanliness of the store through routine cleaning, straightening, folding, stocking, dusting, vacuuming, etc. The Sales Associate may also assist with some inventory and checking in merchandise received.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Greet, welcome and assist all guests on their purchasing needs and educate them on the products and services provided.

  • Assist in overall organization of store by making sure that size runs are complete and merchandise is in the proper location and folded or hung neatly.

  • Continually learn more about the products carried in the shop through vendor presentations and supervisor/associate meetings.

  • Assist in maintenance of store: Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, glass and window cleaning, sweeping, garbage removal, etc.

  • Suggestive sell our retail offerings, in-shop promotions and inform guests of events.

  • Cashiering and finalizing the Sale: opening and closing of register, ringing sales (cash, credit card, gift certificate, room charges etc), processing coupons, discounts, markdowns, and end-of-day reports.

  • Assist with placing special orders.

  • Assist in checking in shipments and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.

  • Assist with physical Inventory counts and reconciliation.

  • Assist with tagging of new merchandise and preparing merchandise for store floor.

*This is a seasonal position supporting the golf operations.

Skills/Requirements

  • Previous retail experience preferred

  • Ability to speak effectively with customers and associates of the organization.

  • Customer service-oriented personality

  • Physical requirement to lift, bend, squat, reach, twist and to carry up to 25+ lbs.
