NPD Project Leader

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hybrid at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

NPD leadership includes budgets, timeline, resource planning and overall execution to plan. Focus on problem solving to meet the scope requirements including markets, timeline, and cost. Ability to flex across styling space categories but focus on Lighting and Lavs, Mirrored Cabinet for NA.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality products are developed, built, and ship on time as defined by the commitments documented in the New Product Schedule.

  • Develops a good understanding of the market, capability, and business acumen to contribute to brand/market strategy planning.

  • Anticipates and manages tasks/risks within each phase of a project.

  • Decision-making for projects. Works with project team to implement cross-functional solutions to issues.

  • Manage the project development process to follow the NPD procedure.

  • Maintain the POL system up to latest status.

  • Prepare status updates for Management.

  • Manage global or regional projects simultaneously.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with associates for the purpose of aligning NPS objectives and removing obstacles for project completion.

  • Facilitates preparation of New Product Schedule, Financial Plan, and Capital Plan by providing resources analysis and insight regarding project synergies and/or interdependencies.

  • Exhibit behaviors and actions that: Build Trust, Drive Continuous Improvement, focus on the End Customer and Set High Standards of Performance.

  • Implement A simple, global aligned process in styling space, and drive continue improvement.

  • Support direct manager assign other jobs.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with over 5 years of related experience in product development.

  • Typically, 5 years of projects or people management work experience.

  • Excellent communication skills and easy to build trust relationship.

  • Previous successful global leadership of program/project/process management.

The salary range for this position is $88,000 - $111,150. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
