Process Transformation Manager

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hybrid at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

The Process Transformation Manager is responsible for using facilitation, change management, and a deep understanding of the underpinnings of the organization to drive radical process simplification and transformational process opportunities. This work includes but is not limited to: process design, improvement/design facilitation, root cause analysis, improvement ideation, testing, implementation.

The position collaborates with Key Enterprise Leaders, Shared Services Leaders, other members of the Process Excellence team, and key functional stakeholders such as IT, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, HR.

This position will serve as an individual contributor with significant ability to influence and work across functions, regions, and lines of business. It is a split of facilitation of sessions as well focus on the ability to reapply and sustain the changes and newly established processes.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of innovation, driving for radical change to process and bringing the stakeholders and SMEs through the journey involving change management and process excellence framework

  • Identify and implement transformational process improvements Enterprise wide.Partner with business leaders to define, measure, analyze, and design processes.

  • Apply a design and systems thinking skill sets to create simple and standard processes considering data analyses, associated dependencies, requirements, etc. before implementing vetted improvements.

  • Leverage external benchmarks and industry standard best practices and measures as a basis to significantly optimize and / or standup new processes.

  • Collaborate with Process Excellence team and key stakeholders to facilitate complex and cross functional process mapping, design, or brainstorming activities.

  • Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support the development of effective working relationships for projects and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.

  • Collaborate with IT on system implementation / enhancement initiatives related to Business Process Improvements

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement and radical simplification of processes, inclusive of but not limited to root cause analysis, process opportunity identification and automation potential

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure global alignment of priorities working in a matrixed environment, while navigating often ambiguous and complex initiatives.

Skills/Requirements

  • BS degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, or related fields.

  • Minimum 8 years of process and/or project work experience in a complex, global organization.

  • Minimum 2 years hands on facilitation skills, with proven track record for success

  • Demonstrated experience working with process design, process mapping, process documentation, process controls, transformational process improvement, and / or process change management

  • Stakeholder management experience with ability to influence and persuade and align key stakeholders

  • Demonstrated adaptability and persistence through a climate of change, and to constructively deal with conflicts.

  • Demonstrated experience of executing process design / improvement initiatives that prompt transformational process change.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed global environment.

  • Formal experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, and/or APQC/ASQ desirable

  • Demonstrated experience initiating enabling technologies

  • Familiarity with application of process automation and process intelligence technologies desirable.

  • Must demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence without authority

  • Collaboration, influence, and relationship management aptitude to establish credibility and confidence with customers and associates.

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $102,500 - $130,550. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
