AON Health & Safety Officer in Krakow, Poland

What the day will look like

  • Performing duties related to occupational health and safety.

  • Conducting occupational health and safety training for large group of employees (Polish and English).

  • Supervising periodic health and safety trainings.

  • Maintaining the required health and safety documentation and preparing health and safety reports.

  • Conducting accident investigations and proposing corrective actions.

  • Participating in the development of company collective agreements, internal regulations, rules and instructions for general safety and health at work and in determining the tasks of executives who are in charge of coordination of health and safety issues at work.

  • Advise, develop and monitor fire protection and evacuation procedures.

  • Conducting fire protection and evacuation procedure training (Polish and English).

  • Advise, develop and monitor ergonomics procedures.

  • Conducting ergonomics training (Polish and English).

  • Cooperation with other departments of the company, management and the company's board of directors.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Knowledge of English (min. B2 level) and Polish language.

  • Minimum of 2 - 4 year of experience in a similar position.

  • Higher education or postgraduate studies in the field of occupational health and safety.

  • Valid certificate of a fire protection officer.

  • Excellent knowledge of Polish health and safety regulations.

  • High interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of Risk Management and compliance.

  • Excellent written and oral communication presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to lead and manage as well as work independently.
