Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review statistical reports for reporting to BNM.

  • Prepare financial statements and perform analytical review for reporting to management/Board and management reports to HQ.

  • Process non-trade payments and staff reimbursement for payment on daily and weekly basis.

  • Ensure reconciliation of all key accounts (including Nostro and Vostro) on timely basis.

  • Completion of daily control checks to ensure that financial controls are working effectively.

  • Work with other team members and stakeholders, to enhance processes for greater efficiencies and controls.

  • Identification of issue logs and potential risk issue, to share with team members and supervisors, and provide recommendation for issue resolution.

  • Updating and maintenance of all reconciliation operational procedures and checklists.

Requirements:

  • Preferably with minimum 1 year of relevant working experience especially in Accounting/Finance/Business Planning role.

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.

  • Strong PC skill in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Access, Power Point), especially MS Excel formula & function skills including Pivot table.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Able to work under pressure with good accuracy.

  • A good team player who is meticulous, detail oriented and pro-active.

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting and banking regulation.
