Ingram Content Group Manager, Consumer Marketing in La Vergne, Tennessee

Ingram Content Group (ICG)* is hiring for a *Manager, Consumer Marketing to contribute to our Marketing team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. In this role, you will develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive the growth of Ingram’s direct-to-consumer marketing business. You will create, manage and execute new user acquisition campaigns to grow consumer audiences, with special focus on paid and earned media. As the Manager, Consumer Marketing, you’ll oversee all ad channels, SEO, social media, digital PR and online partnerships. You’ll also analyze audiences and performance data to develop strategy and discover and validate new opportunities. Finally, you will supervise and support a team of marketing specialists and managers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1 year of prior experience managing a team directly or as leader of cross-functional projects

  • 1 year of prior experience managing performance/growth marketing

  • 6 years of experience managing marketing programs

Preferred Skills:

  • Direct to consumer marketing experience

  • Experience with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, DMP and DSP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with management to develop and execute creative marketing strategies to acquire new users for Ingram’s consumer media properties.

  • Manages all ad channels and corresponding technology, including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, DMP and DSP

  • Manages paid advertising budget to be on budget while still meeting performance targets. Provides frequent reporting on status and effectiveness of campaigns and ROI

  • Project manages marketing campaigns across all media outlets for the brand – explore and use most relevant media outlets to best reach target audiences – online, social, digital and traditional.

  • Analyzes and interprets data to develop strategy, test new campaigns, discover new audiences, validate potential opportunities, and determine ROI.

  • Oversees SEO strategy, working with brand manager and IT to implement as needed

  • Collaborates with brand manager and sales manager to ensure user acquisition strategies support overall business goals.

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders on identifying, evaluating, building and growing third party marketing relationships (partnerships), etc.

  • Creates and executes referral-based strategies including the development of an ambassadors’ program

  • Analyzes consumer landscape, book buying audiences and industry trends for new ideas for consumer related websites, newsletters, social media, or other outlets to identify and acquire consumers

  • Works with internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategies soliciting feedback from consumers

  • Delivers clear, relevant, imaginative and effective ad creative.

  • Provides regular updates on status and performance of marketing projects and initiatives.

  • Coordinates with other Ingram departments—including the PR, Legal or IT—ensuring timely communication, approvals and execution when needed.

  • Provides regular updates to the VP of Marketing and business stakeholders.

  • Supervises and develops a team of marketing specialists and managers in the timely execution of quality deliverables.
