Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Billing Analyst in Laconia, New Hampshire. The role primarily involves overseeing the billing process for customers, maintaining organized financial records, and calculating bill totals. This position is within the telecom provider industry and requires specific skills such as proficiency in billing and excel formulas.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the billing process for customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Process payments on behalf of customers and maintain organized financial records for reporting purposes

• Calculate bill totals by analyzing previous financial statements

• Resolve customer inquiries related to billing and payments

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records and handle credit applications

• Utilize Excel formulas for billing processes and financial record-keeping

• Collaborate with the team to improve and streamline the billing process

• Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Proven experience in a Billing Analyst role or similar is essential.

• Proficiency in using Excel and familiarity with Excel Formulas is required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Knowledge of billing procedures and best practices is a must.

• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is needed.

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Knowledge of accounting software and databases is preferred.

• Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting methods is beneficial.

• Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
