As an Automation Specialist/Technician in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.
As an Automation Specialist/Technician, a typical day might include the following:
RTAC programming and checkouts
Quality assurance and quality control checks
Commissioning (25%+ of the time)
Leading and supporting automation specific projects
This job might be for you if:
You are autonomous and self sufficient
You communicate openly and willingly
You are flexible and open to broadness
You have a depth of knowledge in power systems Automaton
You have or are willing to dive into SEL’s RTAC
You have 5+ years of power systems Automation experience
You are willing to travel 25% of the time
You are familiar with communication management (interface and physical transports of communication), IO management, and PLC programming.

Lakewood, CO-This position is located in Lakewood, CO. Tucked against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and located just seven miles away from Denver, making Lakewood a perfect place to live and work. Enjoy an unmatched quality of life with easy access to outdoor recreation and great schools. Pay range: $45,000 - $56,000+ per year depending on experience. This position provides medical, dental, vision, paid leave, and a monthly education allowance.
