FACILITIES TECHNICIAN The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Facilities Technician to provide assistance with maintenance within all FCBDD facilities. This position includes work in facilities, equipment, and administrative responsibilities. As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies at all times, and shall demonstrate respect for, support dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency. Qualifications for this position include possessing High School diploma or equivalent, having a minimum of two years' experience working with electrical, plumbing, building structure, heating/cooling and grounds keeping.  HVAC experience preferred, ability to lift, carry and move up to 75 lbs. frequently in a safe manner, knowledge of OSHA/PERRP standards, a valid, Ohio drivers' license, personal vehicle insurance and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier, the ability to use hand/power tools, mulcher, riding/hand mowers, table/hand saws, acetylene torch, arc welder, snow blower, forklift, etc., and the ability to utilize basic computer programs (e-mail, internet, Excel, etc.) The starting hourly rate for this position is $18.06 and is based upon experience and qualifications and includes full county benefits.
