Reference #: 9240434Primary Function:Under the direction of the RN, the Surgical Technician is responsible to provide direct patient care while in the operating rooms on the unit. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and patient, and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. Also, assists as needed in vaginal deliveries and manages supplies in LDRs, Mother/Baby, NICU and OR areas.Full-Time 40 Hours/Week Days1. Education: High School Grad/GED. Completion of Surgical Scrub Technician Course.2. Experience: 1 year experience preferred.3. Licensure, Certification and Registration Requirements: None.Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check.
