Robert Half Human Resources Generalist in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist with Paylocity experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of human resources functions, with extensive experience using Paylocity and processing payroll. Experience with Integration to another system is also a plus. This role is a 3-6 month contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.

  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

  • Implement Paylocity HRIS system for various HR functions.

  • Manage employee records, recruitment, and hiring data utilizing the Paylocity system.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as an HR generalist, preferably in industries similar to ours.

  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), particularly Paylocity.

  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.

  • Thorough understanding of researching and benchmarking HR practices.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • BS Degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
