Robert Half is assisting with an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant located in Las Vegas. As part of the team, you will be responsible for processing financial information, performing financial analysis, and maintaining various accounting statements. This role requires a proactive approach towards accounting and finance business partnering across all functional areas.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare general ledger journal entries.

• Maintain the fixed asset subledger and conduct annual physical inventories.

• Manage prepaid amortization schedules.

• Oversee various accounting statements and financial reports.

• Implement and improve general accounting systems.

• Research and resolve complex accounting issues.

• Report discrepancies and provide recommendations to management.

• Partner with other departments on finance and accounting matters.

• Prepare check requests and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

• Generate weekly and monthly Cash Flow Reports.

• Assist in preparing monthly reporting packages and quarterly schedules.

• Support external and internal audits.

• Assist with other tasks as assigned.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

• 5-7 years of related accounting experience in a larger company environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with large company ERP systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
