Slot Technician II Arizona Charlie’s Boulder (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary: Cleans, conducts assigned projects, maintains, repairs and overhauls all slot equipment to ensure optimal operation.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains and repairs slot machines

  • Breaks-down, moves and sets-up machines and stands

  • Ensures compliance with all gaming regulations and internal policies and procedures

  • Brings dispute and unusual guest activities to the attention of the shift manager

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years slot technical experience in a casino environment

  • Previous experience as electronic Bench Technician

  • Knowledgeable of gaming equipment repair and ability to perform the necessary functions in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision

  • Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations

  • Ability to effectively communication in English

  • At least 21 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Electronics degree preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly walking, standing, stooping , crawling or laying on floor

  • Frequently lift, carry up to 100 lbs. Must be able to push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 500 lbs. Utilizing the use of a 2 to 4 wheel Dollies

  • Frequently ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like

  • Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

  • Ability to work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate via radios

  • Ability to distinguish between shades of color

  • Ability to work in smoky environments with moderate to loud noise
