Dartmouth Health Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Centeris seeking aMaternal Fetal Medicine physicianto join our practice in the beautiful Upper Valley of New Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, robust practice in academic medicine. The physician will be eligible for academic appointment atGeisel School of Medicine. This position is a 0.8 cFTE, or four full days a week.

Our division is currently made up of six board-certified MFM physicians, working closely with our Generalist Division, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Complex Family Planning, the Midwifery team, as well as six clinic-based APRNs. We average around 1,300 deliveries a year and coordinate maternal transports throughout Northern New England. We provide consultative care at a number of community group practices that are part of the DH system (Bedford, Nashua, Keene, Southern Vermont Medical Center, and Concord) as well as other non-DH practices. Board-certified genetic counselors are also part of the division.

In this role, the physician will provide care to high-risk obstetrical patients in the outpatient, inpatient, and labor and delivery settings. We are a large tertiary-care hospital and academic medical center, and responsibilities will include teaching residents and medical students and engaging in research. We are particularly interested in expanding our fetal diagnosis and obstetrical ultrasound program and thus experience with procedures including chorionic villus sampling is of particular interest.
