Waystar Team Member Experience Manager in Lehi, Utah

ABOUT THIS POSITION

This role is crucial in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace environment that enhances team member engagement and our values-based organizational culture. They will be responsible for leading initiatives that promote team member engagement, listening strategy, onboarding facilitation, community involvement, and cultural diversity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Onboarding Facilitator: Partner with Learning and Development team to ensure our Waystar Welcome new hire program delivers a world-class onboarding experience that accelerates a new hire’s cultural immersion and engagement and sets them up for success. Additionally, this role will be one of the key facilitators

  • Engagement Surveys & Action Planning: Lead the design, planning, execution, and analysis of team member engagement surveys during a team member’s lifecycle. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement action plans based on survey results, driving continuous improvement in our team member experience. Coordinate the cross-functional “Culture Club” engagement planning team.

  • Best Place to Work Surveys: In partnership with Marketing, manage the completion and submission of external national and local workplace surveys ensuring the organization is recognized for its commitment to a positive work environment.

  • Waystar Cares Community Service: Oversee the Waystar Cares program, coordinating community service initiatives that align with the company’s values and mission. Drive team member participation and track the impact of these efforts on both the community and team member engagement.

  • Affinity Groups: Support program management of our Waystar’s Affinity Groups to ensure these groups are effective in fostering a sense of belonging and create a more inclusive workplace.

  • Recognition Program: Research recognition programs and platforms and lead the design and adoption company wide.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field

  • 7+ years supporting HR, client engagement and/or training type of experience

  • Brand ambassador and role models company values

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels within the organization

  • Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

  • Influence without authority

  • Some travel will be required

Bonus Points

  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs

  • 3+ years of experience in team member engagement, culture, talent engagement data, platforms, frameworks or related role (Glint, Peakon, Gartner, Gallup)

  • HR Certification

  • Project Management Certification
