Carpenter Laborers needed in New Holland, PA. Must have some experience. Apply now for interview.

Hours: 1st shift, 6:30am - 3/4pm (There is no exact finish time. Must be ok with plenty of OT)

Description:

-positions open in a variety of areas including framing, floor department, cabinet shop, drywall, final finishing.

-Framing new walls

-cutting 2 x 4's to length and using air nail guns to nail them together to build wall.

-Most walls are built using a jig so that it makes the process of squaring up wall much easier.

-Will also attach drywall to studded wall using nail gun as well

Floor Department

-Similar to framing department only framing floors with 2 x 8 joists and nailing sub floors in place, will also insulate flooring as well.

Drywall

-production environment where candidate may cut holes in driwall to fit around pipes/fixtures, they may cut drywall to length and must be able to read tape measure. May screw drywall to wall panels and finish with tape and drywall paste.

Cabinet Shop

-Responsible for assembling and installing cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms. Will be cutting and installing counter tops, trimming out cabinetry and finishing the install process.

Final Finishing

-Will be finishing out a unit after it is build. Could include hanging blinds or drapes, installing appliances, cleaning carpets and wiping down unit.

Must Haves:

-previous construction experience (could be personal experience like building a deck, or schooling like vo-tech or other)

-ability to read a tape measure

-hand tool experience
