Summary:
Must be certified Airframe/Powerplant Mechanic preferably with FAA Inspection Authority (IA) certification. Maintains repair logs, documents, and performs preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance on civil aircraft. Maintains and services various airframes in technical and non-technical functions as related to exterior and interior of airframe. Participates in inspections, alterations, and aircraft systems maintenance. Ideal candidate has experience in piston engines.
Must be able to:
Test and evaluate components and parts to ensure proper functioning
Installs, removes, or modifies mechanical equipment and components
Interprets charts, drawings, and schematics in accordance with Technical Orders
Repairs damaged components, testing equipment, and troubleshoots issues
Maintains repair logs and documents preventive measures in accordance FAA standards
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified A&P Mechanic
Familiar with General Aviation maintenance
Reliable and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
1-year experience in Aircraft Maintenance
Experience working with Piston Engines
Ability to quickly adapt and learn on-the-job training skills
FAA Inspection Authority certified
