Aerotek Valve Mechanic in Lewisville, Texas

Job Title: Valve Mechanic

Job Description

As a Valve Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling pumps and valves that regulate water and gas systems tailored to individual customer specifications. Your tasks will include using hand tools and detailed drawings to assemble the units, conducting tests using air to ensure proper functionality, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, you will install actuators, manage wiring requirements, and safely prepare the valve for shipping, which may involve using an overhead crane.

Job Type

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lewisville, Texas.

Work Environment

Work in a small, climate-controlled valve shop where casual attire including jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and steel-toed shoes is acceptable. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with current extended hours starting at 7 AM and ending at 6 PM.
