In need of an Accounting Manager to join a forward-looking company, Robert Half is searching for an individual that is eager, ambitious, and experienced. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every day
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

Requirements - Proven technical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Foundational knowledge in Automated inventory
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Expertise in Annual Physical Inventory
Proven knowledge of Daily Reconciliation
Deep understanding of Annual Inventory
Well-founded grasp of account reconciliation
Account reconciliation experience highly desired
General familiarity with Dynamics Ax
Annual Inventory experience
Recent relevant financial experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
CPA or MBA preferred
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
