Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst III to join our dynamic healthcare organization. As a Financial Analyst III, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of healthcare operations, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts for healthcare facilities or departments. Monitor performance against budget and forecast, and provide explanations for variances.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, executives, and external stakeholders. Present financial information in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

  • Cost Analysis: Analyze cost structures and cost drivers within healthcare operations. Identify areas of inefficiency or cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Provide financial expertise and insights to help drive growth, optimize resources, and achieve organizational goals.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and financial reporting standards. Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and regulations that may impact financial operations.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and reliable financial data in accordance with best practices and data governance policies. Utilize financial systems and tools effectively to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).

  • Excellent understanding of healthcare finance principles, including reimbursement methodologies, payer contracts, and revenue cycle management.

  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders effectively.

  • Proven track record of driving process improvements, cost savings, or revenue enhancement initiatives.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
