Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst II to join our healthcare organization. This role will play a crucial part in our finance team, providing analytical insights and strategic recommendations to support financial decision-making within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for healthcare operations.

  • Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making by senior management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and clinical departments, to gather relevant financial information and insights.

  • Prepare and present financial reports, summaries, and presentations to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

  • Conduct financial performance evaluations of healthcare programs, services, and initiatives, providing actionable insights to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Support financial audits and regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and reporting requirements.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, healthcare regulations, and financial best practices, applying knowledge to enhance financial performance and operational effectiveness.

  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing financial expertise and analytical support to drive organizational growth and success.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and quantitative techniques.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial management software.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends preferred.

  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or HFMA certification a plus.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in finance and healthcare.
