Itron, Inc. Corporate Real Estate Manager in Liberty Lake, Washington

Provide leadership, strategic direction and coordination associated with real estate transactions in support of the objectives and overall business plan and strategies of Itron, Inc. Lead, direct, conduct, and monitor these activities globally for Itron. Itron's Real-Estate services will help drive the business and operating model changes required to achieve the organization's strategic vision. This includes everything from architecting the real-estate future state operating model to designing and leading a real-estate transition program to putting the model in place. Responsible for understanding the company's objectives, requirements and the proposed use of the real estate asset and identifying alternative solutions and conduct financial analysis, lease vs. buy analysis, site selection, due diligence, space planning and other associated activities associated with the negotiation and execution of real estate transactions and facilities management. Ensure Itron is operating and maintaining a cost competitive real estate portfolio. Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop, update and implement real estate management business processes that reflect best practices and align with business needs. Provide management of corporate real estate management budgeting, outsourcing and third party support. Collaborate with senior staff to develop real estate portfolio optimization strategies. Perform Real Estate status reporting, analysis and data management for leadership. Work with legal counsel to prepare real estate contracts in conjunction with negotiated project business parameters. Implement and maintain the lease administration database to include ensuring accuracy and completeness. Develop and utilize dashboards, benchmarking and other analytical tools to identify system-wide opportunities and problems and make recommendations for process improvement.
