Merchant Senior Project Manager

What does a successful Merchant Senior Project Manager do?

You will own the execution of major initiatives across the Bank of America relationship, including product end-of-life and compliance updates. You’ll own the client and stakeholder experience and ensure operational readiness is implemented, executing the changes needed to complete the project.

What you will do:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of activities, decisions, risks, and issues associated with the business project for a given work stream and/or client product customizations in a fast-paced, start-up like environment.

  • Follow up with business work stream leads to ensure that action items have resolution, risks and issues are captured and escalated, and that regular status is provided to executives.

  • Keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the project, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout project.

  • Work effectively with Product, Marketing, Technology project management and Client Services teams as well as Fiservand Bank of America cross organizational areas, including account management and sales, to ensure readiness.

  • Draft internal & client communication and training materials partnering with Bank of America to execute per their direction.

  • Represent Fiserv and Bank of America in client facing interactions to prepare for client impacting activities.

What you will need to have:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in merchant services industry

  • Consulting experience including experience creating or editing executive level presentations 

  • Ability to travel 10%-15%

  • Experience working with a banking, financial services, and/or technology/vendor firm

  • Experience standing up and managing Microsoft Teams and SharePoint 

  • Bachelor’s degree required

What would be great to have:

  • Professional Certifications a plus, such as PMP, Six Sigma

  • Advanced degree

  • Experience driving large scale business integration initiatives or change efforts as well as experience leading resources in a matrix organization.

Salary Range

$77,000.00 - $137,500.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Rhode Isla and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
