As an Senior Accountant (m/f/d) in our EMEA Finance department, you will be responsible for all relevant accounting activities (Taxes, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables & Payables). You will report directly to the Financial Manager. You will be located in Limburg. Hybrid work is possible as well.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a timely and accurate financial close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, commitments, and disclosures, and ensure integrity and timeliness of accounting information by verifying GAAP compliance and reconciling transactions with appropriate supporting documentation.

• Assist with evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable laws and regulations.

• Create and maintain a documented system of accounting processes and policies.

• Assist/Lead efforts with internal and external auditors during financial, tax, and operational audits.

• Prepare and/or assist the filing of tax returns and other required reports.

• Assist in implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5+ years relevant experience

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive outcomes

• Accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting multiple tight deadlines

• Excellent communicator who can build cross-functional relationships and is comfortable providing direct feedback

• Proven experience building processes and scaling workflows

• Very g ood MS Office skills, especially Excel

• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, French is a plus.

Als Senior Accountant (m/w/d) in unserer EMEA-Finanzabteilung sind Sie für alle relevanten Buchhaltungsaktivitäten (Steuern, Hauptbuch, Nebenbücher) verantwortlich. Sie berichten direkt an den Finanzmanager. Arbeitsort ist Limburg an der Lahn. Auch hybrides Arbeiten ist möglich.

Folgende Aufgaben erwarten Sie in dieser Rolle:

• Sie steuern die Finanzbuchhaltung – Haupt- und Nebenbücher, Debitoren, Kreditoren, Anlagevermögen, etc –, entwickeln die Prozesse in Ihrem Verantwortungsbereich im Hinblick auf Effizienz und Qualität konsequent weiter und richten sie an den strategischen Unternehmenszielen aus.

• Die Erstellung der Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse (Local GAAP / US-GAAP) zählen zu Ihren Kernaufgaben. Hier setzen wir auch auf Ihre Fähigkeiten rund um Bilanzanalyse und -dokumentation.

• Auch steuerliche Themen wie Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen und -jahreserklärungen sowie das Tax Package für Ertragssteuern sind bei Ihnen angesiedelt.

• Sie arbeiten eng mit Wirtschaftsprüfern und Steuerberatern zusammen und koordinieren die Zusammenarbeit mit Banken und Versicherungen.

• Klar, dass Sie die Einhaltung aller für das Accounting relevanten internen und externen Vorschriften und Gesetze mit Ihrem Team sicherstellen.
