The role will have two focus areas:

  • Driving the Lean transformation at our Contrast Media API manufacturing site in Lindesnes. The Lindesnes site LEAN Leader role is part of a global team responsible for the design, adoption, and execution of the LEAN transformation roadmap for the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics Integrated Supply Chain Business.

  • Leading the Lean transformation across the ISC Value Stream (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver) at all Fill and Finish sites (Cork, Shanghai and Oslo).

GE Healthcare’s PDx division is a world leader in producing imaging agents administered to patients to improve images used to diagnose and monitor disease. The Lindesnes site is strategic to the PDx Value Stream manufacturing API for x-ray contrast agents. (40% of world x-ray market).

The role will report to the LEAN & Digital Director (ISC).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lean leadership of the E2E EU Contrast Media Value Stream

  • Partner with Site and Supply Chain Leadership to support the delivery of business priorities using Lean.

  • Support the execution of kaizens and Lean events to deliver on the Continuous Improvement roadmap.

  • Build, implement, and measure Standard Work (SW).

  • Train teams on standard work and define KPIs that demonstrate process health.

  • Establish and drive sustainment of Daily Management across the business partner’s processes.

  • Support across all levels of the Management System (Lvl 1-3)

  • Ensure proper training and coaching for effective daily management and a true “embrace the red” culture.

  • Responsible for driving Lean Maturity levels across all CM sites as per the GE HC Lean Framework.

Qualifications and Experience

  • The role requires hands-on experience of applying Lean tools, principles and coaching lean behaviors to deliver results through continuous improvement to drive a cultural change.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any technical or analytical domain with a preference for Supply Chain Manufacturing related degrees (Business, Economics, Engineering)

  • Experience in highly regulated industries is a preference.

  • Proven success in leading significant business process improvement.

  • LEAN/Six Sigma trained with the ability to apply tools and process rigor.

  • Experience leading large Lean transformational rollout across multiple types of businesses or industries.

  • Proven successful application of Lean tools.

  • Conversational Norwegian, fluent English.

The role will require some travelling to different sites.
