What is your mission?
As a Composites Manufacturing Intern, you will generate work instructions, implement improvements in factory floor processes and ensure that assembly, inspection and test requirements are met for hardware builds. Identify process improvement opportunities and designing/developing creative solutions to implement those improvements.
What will you be working on?
You will resolve sequence of operations and specify procedures for the way we fabricate tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. You may provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. You may design manufacturing processes we use and ensure they adhere to applicable statistical process controls and may develop these techniques. You will inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies we encounter to ensure product quality.
Who will you collaborate with?
You will work with a team of talented engineers to oversee activities throughout the facility and assist in the development of new projects and changes.

Actively enrolled in a Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Experience or classroom knowledge of implementing process improvements, conducting root cause analysis, performing engineering design changes into manufacturing documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
