Description: The Instructional Systems Designer/Developer (ID) plans, analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates training and courseware to support customer and internal training program requirements. Training products include, but are not limited to syllabi of instruction (SOIs), student/instructor guides, interactive courseware, assessments/quizzes/tests, emulators, and immersive simulations.
Works with subject matter experts, multimedia engineers, technical writers, and others to design, develop, and maintain training programs for our customers.
Translates customer's needs and applicable standards into effective, instructionally sound training products.
Ensures training programs cover required tasks and objectives, provide required materials, and incorporate required measurement strategies, aligning with desired outcomes and contract requirements.
Develops content using a variety of ISD tools, such as MS Office, Adobe, L/CMS, and others.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
Experience working in an ISD role for DoD (preferred) or other technical industries.
Experience in all parts of the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) process.
Ability to apply ISD best practices to training products.
Experience with e-Learning standards, including Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and web environments.
Experience with Multimedia design architectures, including interactivity levels 1 - 4.
Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and quality requirements and support multiple programs.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Experience with electronics and/ore radar curriculum development.
When necessary, ability to assist and perform instructor led training.
