An Account Manager, you will help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker’s Joint Replacement product portfolio (Hips, Knees & Mako Robotic-Assisted Surgery), covering the Wallonia territory.

What you will do:

We offer you training and expect you to study and prepare yourself autonomously to perform at the highest levels in the operating room, working amongst surgeons and healthcare professionals. The expectations are challenging yet rewarding.

You’ll work closely with experienced Account Managers and Sales Managers to build your knowledge, skill and comfort with clinical and product knowledge as well as selling styles and techniques. They will serve as your coaches and mentors to share lessons learned for how to build and grow a successful business.

  • You will start with a familiarization phase with product trainings to learn about the product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will identify, analyze and prospect new customers, while providing ongoing service to existing customers.

  • You will understand the needs of our customers, implement strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations including with surgeons, hospital administration and purchasing departments.

  • With the product knowledge you have built up, you advise and train medical and surgical professionals on its use during demonstrations. You will also provide clinical support in the operating theater when needed.

  • You will interact with decision-making units and be a reliable partner for our customers throughout the sales process.

  • You will participate in congresses, seminars and business meetings in order to identify potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong Commercial background and growth mentality

  • MedTech background, preferably in medical devices.

  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in French, fluent level of English and basic Dutch is required.

  • You hold a valid driver’s license as this position involves regular customer visits in the region.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 1-3 years Sales experience with Diploma in related field. Higher Education preferable.

  • Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations preferred.

Territory: Wallonia

Based location: Any main city of the region, including Charleroi, Namur, Liège, Verviers, Dinant, Bastogne, Arlon, Virton, Marche-en-Famenne

Travel percentage: 80%
