Description

The Facilities Maintenance Technician's responsibilities will include performing regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and facilities equipment. The ideal candidate should have good troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities Include:

· Troubleshooting root cause of equipment failures

· Communication needs for machine repairs to internal or external technician

· Follow all safety procedures and regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

· Observe repairs process for accuracy

· Observe the installation and setup of new equipment/ machinery.

· Document & understand components of each machine

· Participate in training of new equipment/ machinery.

· Complete preventative maintenance equipment/ machinery.

· Performing minor repairs on production and facilities equipment

· Design, fabricate, replace, or adapt parts as needed

· Facilities and grounds maintenance & repair

· Running air lines and simple electric installation and repair

· Plumbing-leaks, repairs, plugs, and installations

· Some landscaping or lawn work

Requirements

Requirements

· 2+ years of troubleshooting and repairing equipment / machinery

· Possess mechanical understanding and ability

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to communicate and work with others

· Self-motivated, organized, and able to work well under deadlines

· Must be able to work occasional overtime

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
