Team/Role Overview

The Business Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Full management responsibility on risks and controls for all deliveries across Product and Valuation, budget and planning for book of work including consent order deliveries.

What you’ll do

  • Work on Risk and Controls framework to ensure all deliveries/process and governance align to Citi standards.

  • Liaise with Internal Audit, technology teams located globally

  • Ensure the Regulatory deliveries follow strict controls process

  • Understanding of budgeting and planning for deliveries

  • This position holds responsibilities for the global review, development and implementation of business process improvements.

  • This position will also coordinate efforts for global area integration to achieve operational efficiency objectives.

What we’ll need from you

  • Proven experience in project administration and background in operational areas.

  • Action-oriented, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management.

  • Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission oriented, and self-directed.

  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management.

  • Strategic and goal-oriented thinker.

  • Effective interpersonal skills – including teamwork and organizational skills.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.

  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task.

  • Experience in finance and processes administration.
