The Datacenter Physical Security team (DCPS) is organized within CO+I. DCPS is dedicated to delivering the most trustworthy and efficient physical security services to protect the personnel, infrastructure, data, and confidential information foundational to the Microsoft Cloud. DCPS is looking for a Regional Security Delivery Lead in EMEA to lead a team delivering business critical projects involving physical security design, systems implementation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance for our worldwide critical infrastructure including datacenters, leased collocations, and other types of facilities. This position is responsible for working directly with numerous internal and external teams, including architects, engineers, numerous security vendors, construction / project managers, and customers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services across a wide array of stakeholders and priorities

Responsibilities:

The Regional Security Delivery Lead must be an experienced team player, possess strong communication and collaboration skills, have the ability to determine and prioritize work streams, and possess the skills to effectively manage and develop people along with a demanding workload in the execution of multiple concurrent projects across geographic and organizational boundaries.

  • Provides strategic guidance to teams to design end-to-end and supports the implementation of security systems and infrastructure. Provides strategic guidance to teams to manage security system integration and delivery. Oversees management of maintenance of cost, schedule, quality, and standards for security systems.

  • Review, edit, improve, and approve physical security designs and scopes of work for security system and project work to ensure compliance and standardization to established baselines, cost and schedule efficiency, and policy.

  • Oversees teams in meeting collective security requirements and providing security capabilities. Advises the organization and stakeholders on industry best practices related to risk mitigation and threats. Develops and oversees the implementation of enterprise-wide risk management frameworks for identifying and controlling security risks across the Microsoft portfolio. Drives risk management rhythm and training programs to increase risk awareness among service teams and stakeholders. Ensures teams summarize, report, and communicate risk analysis findings to internal and external stakeholders and leaders. Provides expertise in developing a strategy to mitigate and respond to residual risks based on its team's anticipation of global insecurity and physical disruption (e.g., life safety, business operations, reputation) within Microsoft.

  • Collaborate with peer teams and organizations to ensure their team is aligned with broader strategy and initiatives, fully supporting leadership priorities, being good partners, helping reduce costs, time burden, and complexity, and being responsive trusted advisors.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Physical Security Program or Program Management or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Risks, or related field AND experience in Security Program or Program Management OR equivalent experience.

· People management experience.

· PSP, CPP, PMP, or CSPM certifications are highly desirable.

The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
