An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Repo Product specialist to join the London-based team. A key, strategic position, the right individual will have a broad Repo product knowledge, ideally with focus on cash and derivative products, and be able to leverage their product experience to boost the products team effort for Tradeweb Europe. Aside from in-depth product knowledge, the role requires product management expertise, excellent client liaison skills, as the successful candidate will work closely within the Product Management team and closely with our Technology and Sales Team to drive the Repo products agenda, maximizing all opportunities for growth and increased market share.

As such, strong technical skills are a necessity along with a tenacious and results-oriented approach. To be successful, the right individual will also need to develop an in-depth understanding of our customers’ requirements along with the different Repo products development strategy; sharing and leveraging information to maximum advantage. Experience with electronic trading solutions is also beneficial. Strong technical expertise relationships will be key to the success of this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely within the Repo product to develop and execute the teams strategy, partnering with the Technology and Sales Team to leverage opportunity and drive the Repo business.

• Key focus is to liaise with the technology team, ensuring essential timely and effective management of projects, ensuring deadlines are managed and met.

• Contribute to the development of the Repo products strategy, working closely with the Sales Management team to understand the key drivers as well as sharing information and ensuring a close alignment with the sales team’s focus.

• Assist the team with idea generation and innovative ideas to help the continued evolution and digialisation of the securities finance market.

• Build and develop key relationships both internally and externally, This requires an element of sales trading skillset as we need to respond to Repo enquiries both internally and externally swiftly. The role also requires dissemination of specialist information; educate others and provide presentations / demonstrations as necessary;

• Help grow Tradeweb’s market share in the different Repo products markets, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Repo product expertise – specifically cash and derivatives

• Very strong Technical and product management experience.

• Any additional languages beneficial such as Spanish, German and French

• Ability to drive and execute team strategy

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Results focused

• Commitment to achieving high standards

• Thorough understanding of electronic trading/e-commerce

• Team-player; effective communication
