Preferred in London, Luxembourg or Bratislava but this role can be based out of most of the Key Corporate Offices of Amazon in the EU.

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Amazon Human Resources team as the Human Resources Leader to drive the development and implementation of HR strategy in support of our EU Finance Organization. The HR Leader role is both a strategic and hands on role and is critical in building and executing our people initiatives across the EU organization including improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Leader who can effectively interact with business leaders at all levels, possesses excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and works effectively across multiple geographies. Although preferred in Luxembourg , London or Bratislava this role can be based out of Berlin, Munich, Brussels or Paris as well.

Key job responsibilities

In this position you will partner with the various senior leaders along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness. The individual in this role must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business. The HR Leader will serve as a liaison between the business and the central corporate teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development.

We are looking for Human Resource professionals who have the ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions. The role will require the ability to leverage data to establish HR priorities and operating mechanisms to drive change. The individual in this role must be able to interface effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization. You will need a strong data analytics background, excellent communication skills, coaching skills, strategic thinking and planning/project management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel within the EU as appropriate.

A day in the life

The HR lead would partner various senior leaders along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness. They will co-ordinate talent management activities with US/EU peers.

About the team

The team is comprised of HRBPs who support International G&A and also partners with Compensation , DEI and Talent Acquisition leads.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources Management or related field. Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred.

• Relevant years of experience in an HR Business Partner role

• Relevant years of experience working with global teams, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization

• Able to travel domestically and internationally, as appropriate

• Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization

• Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills , data analysis as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions

• Strong Project/Program Management Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• HR lead experience for multiple countries in the EU and knowledge of regulatory practices

• Experience working in a corporate environment

• Expertise in Leadership and Organizational Development

• Experience in Executive Coaching

• Hands-on leader who is continually and deeply engaged in the business to understand the current and future talent needs and to be able to provide insight\input on the health of the organization

• Has a data driven approach with strong analytics and the ability to create the right people metrics and implement solutions to drive positive change

• Known for high judgment, bias for action, and demonstrated ability to deliver results

• Possesses a mix of intellectual curiosity, creative thinking and pragmatism and comfortable with ambiguity

• Has the ability to identify issues and root cause; willingness to dive deep into details

• Ability to achieve results and earn the trust of business leaders

• Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives spread over multiple geographies.
